The Brattleboro Historical Society

Exhibits

The Society has two current exhibits in the town of Brattleboro's municipal building: Island Park, an amusement park that was located on an island in the Connecticut River and an exhibit on the Sanborn Maps of Brattleboro. The Sanborn map, originally used for fire underwriting purposes, is considered the definitive record of historic building locations.
