The Brattleboro Historical Society

Exhibits

The Society maintains changing exhibits in two glass display cases on the first and third floor of the Town of Brattleboro's Municipal Center. On the second floor is a panel display of Sanborn maps of Brattleboro. The Sanborn map, originally used for fire insurance underwriting purposes, is considered the definitive record of historic building locations.
