The Society maintains changing exhibits in two
glass display cases on the first and third floor of the Town of Brattleboro's
Municipal Center. On the second floor is a panel display of Sanborn maps
of Brattleboro. The Sanborn map, originally used for fire insurance underwriting
purposes, is considered the definitive record of historic building locations. |
